How B2B Fees makes money

Some vendors may pay us when you sign up through a link on this site. Others do not. It does not change what we say.

What we can be paid for

  • Referral fees. A vendor may pay us when a reader signs up through one of our links.
  • Reader offers. Sometimes a vendor agrees, in writing, to give people who come through us a discount or a longer trial. We show the offer beside that vendor's button, with the date it was confirmed.

What payment never changes

  • The order of the options, and which one we name as our pick for a given business.
  • Any number: prices, yearly costs, extras.
  • The tone. A vendor that pays us gets the same plain description as one that does not.

Every vendor gets the same kind of button. A vendor that does not pay us gets a plain link to its own page.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell placement, and we do not accept payment to change a ranking.
  • We do not publish reviews written for pay, and we do not use star ratings.
  • We change a vendor's number only with a primary source, such as its own page or contract terms. A vendor can send us a correction; we ask for the link.

How you will know

Where a link may pay us, we say so beside the link, before you click, not only in the footer.
